Filmed across three continents and featuring interviews with experts and activists on the frontlines, the Emmy Award-Winning documentary The Story of Plastic presents a cohesive timeline of how we got to our current global plastic pollution crisis and how the oil and gas industry has successfully manipulated the narrative around it. The Story of Plastic premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival (Audience Award Winner) and marked its world broadcast premiere on Discovery Channel in honor of Earth Day, broadcasting on the network in 134 countries. The film is currently available for free community screenings and on digital streaming services. As creators and producers of the film, Peak Plastic Foundation participates in select screening events and panel discussions.
